The Cash Flow Problem This Creates
Each platform pays on its own schedule, and some (DoorDash, Instacart, Lyft) offer same-day instant pay for a small fee while others default to weekly direct deposit — mixing them means money can arrive in three disconnected trickles instead of one predictable amount, making it easy to lose track of actual take-home pay versus gross bookings shown in each app’s dashboard.
Reconciling Multiple Payout Streams Into One View
The fix is a single weekly reconciliation, not per-app tracking: log gross earnings, tips, and instant-pay fees from every platform into one spreadsheet or app each week, and treat the instant-pay fee (often $0.50–$2.99 per transfer) as a real cost to weigh against the cash flow benefit of getting paid same-day versus waiting for a free weekly deposit.
